by Manu Food · 60K subscribers on YouTube
As per tradition in my area, on November 2nd we prepare soft torrone, also called 'Torroncino'. In this video I show you the classic version and how to prepare it really easily and quickly at home.
Method
- Toast the hazelnuts for a few minutes.
- Melt the milk chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.
- Add the spreadable cream to the melted chocolate and stir gently until fully incorporated.
- Add the toasted hazelnuts and mix well.
- Optional: Let the mixture cool slightly for a few minutes to prevent the hazelnuts from sinking.
- Pour the mixture into the chosen mold.
- Tap the mold or use a utensil to release any air bubbles.
- Let it cool at room temperature for 2-3 hours.
- Remove the torrone from the mold, cut it, and serve.
