A refreshing twist on classic tiramisù, featuring a homemade lemon curd and mascarpone cream, layered with ladyfingers soaked in limoncello.

Ingredients

Method
- Put a pot of water on the stove to heat for a bain-marie.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, butter cut into pieces, and grated zest of two lemons. Cook in the bain-marie for 10-15 minutes, never letting it boil, to make the lemon curd.
- In another bowl, prepare the mascarpone cream: mix mascarpone, fresh cream, sugar, milk, and limoncello.
- Spread a thin layer of mascarpone cream on the bottom of the dish.
- Dip ladyfingers quickly into limoncello (or milk) and arrange a layer on the cream.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Spread half of the lemon curd over the mascarpone cream.
- Repeat the layers: another layer of soaked ladyfingers, remaining mascarpone cream, and remaining lemon curd.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
