A quick, light, and fresh tuna tataki salad with a savory homemade dressing, pecorino, and romaine lettuce perfect for a post-workout meal.

10 items- Bluefin TunaFresh tuna block for searing
- 1 pcsSmall EggWhole egg for the dressing
- Lemon ZestFreshly grated zest
- Lemon JuiceFresh lemon juice
- 2 pcsAnchoviesGood quality anchovies in oil
- 1 tbspMustardOne tablespoon of mustard
- Pecorino RomanoFinely grated, used in the sauce and for topping
- PepperA pinch of black pepper
- Romaine LettuceFresh romaine lettuce head
- 1 tbspMayonnaiseOne tablespoon placed at the base of the salad
Method
- Sear the tuna block in a hot pan for one minute per side, then slice it into thick pieces.
- Prepare the dressing by blending or mixing together an egg, lemon zest, lemon juice, two anchovies, a tablespoon of mustard, grated pecorino, and a pinch of pepper.
- Clean the romaine lettuce, discard the base and top tips of the leaves, and cut the remaining head into three sections.
- Plate the lettuce, add a tablespoon of mayonnaise, drizzle two tablespoons of the prepared dressing, sprinkle with additional pecorino, and arrange the sliced tuna on top.
