A rustic Italian recipe where pork sausages are slowly cooked in a pan with red wine and whole grapes, creating a sweet and savory sauce. Perfect served with crusty bread.

Ingredients
5 items- Sausagespork sausages, preferably in a braid or individually
- Uvaone whole cluster of red or black grapes
- Red Winegenerous amount, like a splash or more
- Coarse Saltabout 2 grains (a pinch) of coarse salt
- Olive Oilextra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
Method
- Prepare the grapes: put a little water and a generous amount of red wine in a pan. Add two grains of coarse salt and the whole grape cluster. Drizzle with olive oil, cover, and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Meanwhile, prick the sausages with a special tool or with toothpicks to prevent the casings from bursting during cooking.
- Arrange the sausages over the grapes in the pan, trying not to let them touch the bottom directly. Drizzle with more olive oil and add additional red wine. Cover and cook for 15–20 minutes.
- After cooking, serve the sausages with the grapes and the wine sauce. Use crusty bread to soak up the delicious juices.
