Peppered Mussels

A simple recipe for mussels cooked with black pepper. The mussels are placed in a pan with their own liquid and plenty of black pepper, then covered and cooked until they open. Served immediately.
Method
- Place a pan on the stove over heat.
- Add the cleaned mussels with their own liquid.
- Add abundant black pepper.
- Cover the pan and cook until the mussels open.
- Once opened, serve immediately with a sprinkle of pepper if desired.
