A quick and flavorful pasta dish inspired by the classic pizza capricciosa, featuring tomatoes, prosciutto cotto, mozzarella, artichokes, olives, and mushrooms.

Ingredients

- 1 pcsGarlic1 clove
- Blended Peeled TomatoCrushed peeled tomatoes
- BasilA few leaves
- SaltTo taste
- Pasta (Farfalle)Any short pasta works
- Cooked Ham1 thick slice, cut into strips
- MozzarellaCut into small cubes
- Carciofi sott'olioIf large, quarter them
- OlivesTo taste
- Funghetti sott'olioSmall mushrooms preserved in oil
- OreganoDried oregano, two generous pinches
Method
- Heat olive oil in a pan with a clove of garlic.
- Add crushed peeled tomatoes, a few basil leaves, and a pinch of salt. Cook the sauce for the time it takes to cook the pasta (about 8 minutes).
- Meanwhile, cut a thick slice of cooked ham (prosciutto cotto) into strips, mozzarella into small cubes, and if large, cut artichokes in oil into pieces. Leave small mushrooms and olives whole.
- Cook the pasta (farfalle or your preferred shape) in salted boiling water until al dente.
- Remove the garlic clove from the sauce.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the sauce. Mix well.
- Add dried oregano (two generous pinches) and stir.
- Add the olives, mushrooms, prosciutto cotto, and artichokes. Mix everything together.
- Finally, add the mozzarella cubes without melting them completely. Serve immediately.
