Pasta with garlic, oil, tuna and lemon zest: the perfect first course for those who want to bring a simple and tasty dish to the table, incredibly easy to make. Few ingredients but well blended make this preparation truly fabulous. A dish that can be served during a late-night spaghetti feast, but also perfect for those who want to go a little beyond the simple pasta aglio e olio e peperoncino.

Ingredients
8 items- Extra Virgin Olive Oilto taste
- Garlicto taste, minced or whole if preferred
- Chili Peppers3 calabrian chili and 1 habanero, adjust to taste
- Tuna in Oil1 can, drained and flaked
- 1 pcsLemonfor juice
- Spaghettito taste
- Parsley(optional) — fresh, chopped (optional)
- Lemon Zest(optional) — grated (optional)
Method
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta.
- In a large pan, heat a generous drizzle of olive oil over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chili peppers (calabrian and habanero) to the pan; cook gently without burning the garlic.
- Add the tuna and let it flavor the oil for a minute.
- Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the pan and stir to combine.
- Cook the spaghetti until al dente, then drain (reserving some pasta water).
- Transfer the pasta to the pan with the sauce and toss well, adding a little pasta water if the mixture seems dry.
- Serve with a final drizzle of raw olive oil and, if desired, a sprinkle of fresh parsley and grated lemon zest.
