Zucchini Flower Fritters

Delicious fried fritters made with zucchini flowers, a simple and tasty Italian appetizer.

Ingredients
5 items- 250 gFlour
- 250 gWater
- Zucchini Flowers4 to 5 flowers
- Salt6 to 7 grams
- Brewer's Yeast10 to 12 grams
Method
- Remove the outer part and stem from the zucchini flowers, then remove the hard inner part with a knife and chop finely.
- In a bowl, dissolve the brewer's yeast in water (use your hands).
- Add the chopped zucchini flowers to the yeast water.
- Add the flour and start kneading with your hands.
- Add the salt and continue kneading.
- Slap the dough against the bowl to dissolve any lumps.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 2–3 hours until doubled in size.
- Heat abundant oil (sunflower, corn, or any frying oil) in a deep pan. Dip a spoon in the oil, then scoop a portion of dough from the outside edge and carefully drop it into the hot oil.
- Fry the fritters, moving them around for even cooking, until golden brown.
- Remove from oil, drain on paper towels, and season with salt.
