Ingredients
6 items- Saltfor boiling water
- Olive Oilfor boiling water
- Fettuccine
- Butterdivided, use generously
- Pasta Cooking Waterfor softening butter
- Parmigiano Reggiano
Method
- Bring a pot of salted water with a little oil to a boil.
- Cook the fresh fettuccine for 4-5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place a generous amount of butter in a baking dish and soften it with a little pasta cooking water.
- Drain the pasta al dente and transfer it to the baking dish.
- Add more butter while the pasta is still hot.
- Add a generous amount of grated Parmesan cheese and toss vigorously until creamy.
- Serve immediately.
