The story
Ciccio Gamer, the Roman burger spot launched by YouTuber Ciccio Gamer, serves creative Italian-inspired burgers in a casual, counter-seat setting. Giuliacrossbow, an early visitor, called the bacon “excellent” and the sauces “great,” but noted a frozen veggie patty and a tomato-sauce burger that “didn’t work.” She concluded it was “better than I expected” but not worth a special trip. The kitchen has clearly listened to feedback since then. Riccardo Dose, returning after six months, found the bread improved, the mozzarella sticks good, and the supplì “honest,” though service dragged at 25 minutes. surmacchio agreed, reporting that sandwiches were now “well-composed and tasty” and singled out the Carbonaro 89 as a standout, even if the Chicken Bagon suffered sogginess. Giovanni Fois echoed the progress, naming the Lavico N as his favorite, though he criticized the nuggets and fries for not matching the price and urged Ciccio to focus on perfecting the menu with a professional chef. Still a work in progress, Ciccio Gamer is an evolving project that has clearly taken feedback to heart.

The venue captures the spirit of Ciccio Gamer's online persona, with a quirky, nostalgic feel that fans appreciate. The looped videos and owner's presence add to the experience, though some find the space small or hard to find.

Reviewers rave about the Bacon Bacon, a smoky, crispy triumph. The overall vibe is unpretentious, hearty comfort food executed with serious craft.
“The bread has improved a lot. Finally the burger is balanced in terms of composition. This time the bacon was crispy. The honey glaze is not noticeable at all, I don't know if they still do it. Good, I devoured it.”
“The bread has improved a lot, it's really good. The burger, the bacon, the sauce — wow, the sauce isn't on the bun but directly inside. A good amount of bacon, the cheddar is there, the sauce is there. Much better composed than last time. There's sauce underneath too. Finally the burger is balanced in terms of composition and you can see the layers in between. The bacon is crunchy, just the way I like it. The honey glaze is not noticeable at all. The burger is cooked well. The bun reminds me of the Filet-O-Fish bun — that texture underneath is crazy. Good. The bacon is crunchy as I like it, so I don't know if that was your intention, but it's good anyway.”
“This is basically a steroided Crispy McBacon. The bread is industrial, white hamburger bun, not a potato bun. The meat is good, juicy, and the sauce tastes exactly like the Crispy McBacon sauce. The bacon is balanced in every bite, with a slice of cheddar. It's better than McDonald's version, but it costs €13.90, which is too expensive for what it is. I'd still choose this over the McDonald's one if I can afford it.”
“This one has a classic beef patty, crispy bacon, honey, cheese, and their house burger sauce. It's very saucy — the sauce does 80% of the work. The patty is well-cooked, not rare, which I appreciate for safety. The bacon isn't actually crispy though, which is ironic given the name. Still, it's really good, reminds me of a saucy Mc Bacon. One of my favourites.”

Carbonaro 89
Lots of carbonara sauce both under and on top of the guanciale. The guanciale is also underneath. The burger is dry. There's a lot of carbonara cream. The guanciale is noticeable, I really like it. Really a carbonara sandwich as I imagine it. This time I'm not salty.
Chicken Bagon
The chicken tastes like Kentucky Fried Chicken, it's really good, not too dry, it's a combo that makes my head spin. This is the best sandwich so far and I'll finish this one. The fried chicken doesn't seem to be the protagonist, I wouldn't get it, but much better. Too bad it got all soggy because I tried it last and I should try it separately, fresh, to judge its potential properly.

Cicciogamer89 Burger has improved significantly since my first visit; the sandwiches are now well-composed and tasty, though still a bit pricey, and I would recommend it overall.

Carbonaro 89
Here's the new bun. I have guanciale from Norcia, hand-cut. It looks really well cooked, there's a lot of sauce and there's also pecorino cream on top that hits me in the face to make it more intense, I imagine. But nice, there's a lot of carbonara sauce both under and over the guanciale. Oh, the guanciale is also underneath. I hope they didn't read my name on Just Eat, otherwise it's a mess. The meat is balanced, also cooked well. There have been notable improvements. Anyway, the cream is maybe too much, it's really too much. The burger, even if it stayed dry, I think there are improvements in the meat composition too. There's a lot of egg yolk carbonara cream — if there had been less, it would have given room for the pecorino to be felt, since the carbonara cream is both under and over and then on top there's also pecorino cream. The guanciale is noticeable, it's very good, I really like it. It's really a carbonara sandwich as I imagine it. I understand it can be really heavy after a while. Anyway, it's a sandwich that this time I don't regret the money spent. If the first time I went to Ciccio I thought 'I spent this money, what a pain', now I say I spent this money but the sandwich is good. OK, it costs more than average, but it's good.
Chicken Bacon Bacon
What a beautiful bun, soft but firm — on top it's firm. Chicken cutlet, seems more spiced, the smell of spicing already hits me, really great. Two slices of cheddar and then sauce and bacon here. Double bacon works because it's bacon. Bacon underneath only sauce. The chicken tastes like Kentucky chicken, like spiced, like KFC's that has some stuff in it. Some pepper, a little spicy. I'm getting emotional. It feels like eating KFC and that's a compliment because the KFC chicken sandwich really makes my head spin. It's really good, the chicken isn't too dry, the cheddar isn't melted, too bad. The bacon works and especially the sauce, this crispy sauce with fried chicken is a combo that makes my head spin. This is the best sandwich so far and I'll finish it in front of all of you. This has a perfect balance between crunchy and spicy, not too dry, the cheddar gives that slight creaminess, but I would have preferred it a bit more melted, but the creaminess isn't missing because there's the sauce, the crispy sauce and then the bacon gives that extra saltiness.
Gamer Pollo
Ah, the homemade-style sandwich is nice. Of course, now it's gone soft because it's been closed all the time, so it's gone soft. What do we do? I don't like the lettuce like this, whole. Ah, caramelized onion. Very good. Mm, but too much vinegar. Yeah, too much vinegar. Underneath there's always the white sauce. These lettuce leaves I really don't like, they get too soggy. This is the caramelized onion. Then there's the chicken and underneath more sauce. The chicken I think is the same as the bacon bacon. Mmm. On the onion I have to reconsider, this vinegar doesn't bother that much in the overall sandwich. No, it's not true. A little bit. No. It seems like the fried chicken isn't the protagonist. I taste the caramelized onion, the bread changes, so it gives me a novelty experience and so I focus on the bread. The lettuce makes me a bit meh, I just don't like lettuce like this, I like it a bit more voluminous. I wouldn't get it. Too bad it's all soggy because I tried it last. I should try it separately, freshly made, to judge its potential properly, but anyway the flavor-wise I like the Kentucky chicken spicing. Too bad the white sauce, which is good, isn't noticeable at all because it's covered by the extreme sweetness of the caramelized onion. Maybe a change in composition, maybe lots of sauce on top and the caramelized onion at the bottom, I don't know, I'd try some change.

After six months, the food has improved — the bread is better, the mozzarella sticks are good, the supplì are honest, and even the donuts are pleasant, though the service was a bit slow (25 minutes as the first customers).
Dishes mentioned
Mozzarelline Stick
This time the mozzarella sticks are good. The breading is light, not too fried, and inside the mozzarella is hot and stringy. I approve them.
Carbonaro
Compared to last time, the bread is much better — less dry. I don't know if they fixed the bread, but it's improved. The carbonara sauce is very cheesy, you can taste the cheese, the meat, and the bacon. It's enjoyable, not my favorite burger, but a good one. I approve it sincerely.
- Supplì
Supplì al Ragù di Carne
This is my favorite so far. The ragù is good, it reminds me of my grandmother's ragù — a bit saucy, oily, nice and fatty. I like it.
Cicciolavico
I got a blast of heat. I'm tearing up a bit. I really like the flavor — the raw onion, the meat. The only flaw is the sauce is really spicy, it needs a bit more balance. Even though the sauce is so spicy, you can still taste all the ingredients. It reminds me of a post-disco sandwich from a food truck outside the club. I had lower expectations, honestly.
Giovanni finds the burgers have improved significantly since his last visit a year ago, with the Lavico N being the standout, but criticizes the nuggets and fries for not matching the price point, and advises Ciccio to focus on perfecting the menu with a professional chef.

The bacon is balanced in every bite, with a slice of cheddar. It's better than McDonald's version, but it costs €13.90, which is too expensive for what it is. I'd still choose this over the McDonald's one if I can afford it.
Amatriciccio
This one is much better than the Bacon Bacon. The bread is black, different from before, and it's well seasoned. There's a lot of pepper inside, guanciale, tomato, and the meat is the star — it's Angus, very tasty. The bacon and guanciale take a back seat to the meat, which is so flavorful. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. This is the one I'd recommend.
Carbonaro
This one is a problem. It doesn't taste like carbonara at all. The egg is there, but the meat is too invasive, it overpowers everything. I love carbonara, I've eaten it everywhere, and this disappoints me. If it's called carbonara, it should taste like carbonara. I wouldn't finish this one. I prefer the Amatriciccio and the Bacon Bacon over this.
Lavico N
This one is amazing. The spicy sauce is actually spicy — I can feel it in my mouth. The onion is present, the fried potatoes are there, the tomato is there, everything is balanced. This is much better than the others. I'd give it a 9 out of 10. If I had to find a flaw, the fried potatoes inside are more like hash browns than actual fries, but I love it. I'm falling in love with this burger.
- Nuggets
A new fast food burger joint by YouTuber Ciccio Gamer, with creative Italian-inspired burgers. The bacon is excellent, the sauces are great, but some execution issues like a frozen veggie patty and a tomato-sauce burger that doesn't work hold it back. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but it's better than I expected.
Dishes mentioned
Vegano Burger
The patty is beetroot, the cheese is vegan. It's a good vegan burger, well balanced, doesn't make you miss the meat. But the patty was still frozen inside — I took a bite and felt ice. That's a big problem, because otherwise it's good, like a Flower Burger.
Bacon Bacon
This one has a classic beef patty, crispy bacon, honey, cheese, and their house burger sauce. It's very saucy — the sauce does 80% of the work. The patty is well-cooked, not rare, which I appreciate for safety. The bacon isn't actually crispy though, which is ironic given the name. Still, it's really good, reminds me of a saucy Mc Bacon. One of my favourites.
Carbonaro
This is a carbonara-inspired burger with black charcoal bread, bacon, pecorino cheese shavings, and a yolk cream. The bacon here is much better than the Bacon Bacon — actually crispy. The pecorino is very strong, maybe too strong — it covers the taste of the beef patty. The yolk cream is balanced, not too invasive. I wouldn't order it myself because I'm not a carbonara fan, but objectively it's well-balanced. A bit trashy but in a good way if you like that style.
Matriciano
This is an amatriciana-style burger with tomato sauce, pecorino, and bacon. The tomato sauce soaks the bread too much, and I don't like the idea of tomato sauce on a burger. The bacon is good, but the whole thing doesn't work for me. I preferred the Carbonaro. I wouldn't order this again.
