A creative twist on classic apple strudel: apples are hollowed out and filled with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, nuts, raisins, and pine nuts, then topped with a buttery hazelnut crumble.

Ingredients

- 4 tbspSugarlevel tablespoons
- 4 tbspFrutta Secca Mista (Noci, Pinoli, Uvetta)or any dried fruit of choice
- Cinnamonto taste
- 60 gFlourtype 0 flour
- 50 gZucchero (per crumble)
- 40 gButtermelted
- 15 gGranella di Nocciola(optional) — optional; use 10-20g to taste
Method
- Chop the dried fruit (walnuts, pine nuts, raisins) and mix with sugar, cinnamon, and any additional dried fruit. Stir well.
- Hollow out the apples, removing the core, and stuff them with the prepared filling.
- Prepare the crumble: mix flour, sugar, melted butter, and hazelnut granules until crumbly.
- Top each stuffed apple with the crumble mixture.
