Ingredients

- Oila drizzle
- Gingerfresh or powdered, to taste
- 1 pcsGarlic1 clove, crushed
- Carrotto taste
- Cabbageto taste
- Leekto taste
- Soy Sauceused for deglazing and serving
- 200 gGround Porkminced pork
- 250 gFlourall-purpose flour (type 00)
- 150 mlLukewarm Waterwarm water for dough
- 1 tspSaltsalt
- Waterhalf a glass of water for steaming
- Sesame Seedsfor garnish, to taste
Method
- Finely chop half an onion, then add it to a pan with a drizzle of oil, fresh or powdered ginger, and crushed garlic.
- While the onion wilts, cut the vegetables: carrot, cabbage, and leek.
- Deglaze with soy sauce.
- Once cooked, add the vegetables to the raw minced pork and mix well.
- For the dough: add flour, salt, and warm water. Knead with your hands for about 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin. Using a cookie cutter or a glass, cut out discs.
- Place a little filling in the centre of each disc and close the dumplings.
- For cooking: brown them in a pan with a drizzle of oil for 2-3 minutes.
- Add half a glass of water, cover with a lid, and cook for 6-7 minutes.
- Remove the lid and let them go for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve with sesame seeds and soy sauce.
