Club Sandwich

Method

1. Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy.
2. Toast the slices of bread in a pan until lightly golden on both sides.
3. Place slices of scamorza cheese on the toasted bread and put in the oven under the grill to melt the cheese.
4. Fry an egg in a small pan with a drizzle of oil or butter, seasoning with salt and pepper; keep the yolk runny.
5. Prepare the sauce by mixing ketchup, mayonnaise, and a little balsamic glaze (optional).
6. Assemble the sandwich: on a slice of bread, layer ham, the fried egg, crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Top with another slice of bread and repeat the layers if desired.
7. Secure the sandwich with toothpicks and cut into triangles or rectangles.
8. Serve immediately.
