Şehzade Cağ Kebap’s cağ kebabı is the undisputed star, earning rapturous praise for its tender, charred flavor. The overall vibe is one of unpretentious, masterful simplicity that leaves diners deeply satisfied.

Cağ kebab is similar to the vertical meat cylinder we get in Italy, but cooked horizontally, only lamb in this case, then sliced and put on a skewer. Served with a flatbread to make a roll. Despite the cold and eating outside, this is the only place on this street with a queue. The kebab finally arrived. Onion with sumac, a salad of cucumbers and tomatoes, spicy tomato sauce Edz, buffalo yogurt. It's good. Despite everything, it's delicious. Lamb that doesn't taste sheepy — a Turkish term we've exported worldwide. Not too spicy. The yogurt cools the onion, the lemon acidity, but especially the meat is really exceptional. This place deserves it. Spartan in the way we like. They only do this, so if you want to start with kebabs, come here. For four burritos, we paid €25 for two.
Where The Foodies Go👍
This is the king of meats. The lamb is cooked in a pit, then pulled up on a pulley system and a zipline — it's a lamb zipline! The meat is swimming in its own fat, like a Jacuzzi of lamb. The ribs have been boiled in the fat and juices, they're insanely tender — he uses a knife but sometimes he even just breaks it apart with his fingers because they're so soft. The fat and the crispy skin, the pure lamb flavor — it's hard to get better than that.
