Rooms
- The carpet is similar to what I've seen in other hotels, the bed is two singles pushed together and really hard—I can feel the springs and the plastic on the mattress is all ripped. The pillows look new, the bathroom is surprisingly clean apart from a few hairs, and there's a huge kettle with Pontins tea and coffee. It's some of the best accommodation I've stayed in at a Pontins, but the mattress is awful.
Facilities
- The swimming pool is closed and has mattresses and beds thrown in, which is a shame. The games room is pretty good with a snooker table and old arcade machines, but no one was using it. There's also a pitch and putt, crazy golf, outdoor bowls, an outdoor gym, and a sensory garden—it's a little bit dated but the grounds are well kept.
Location
- The park is right next to a huge beach with a great view of Western-super-Mare in the distance. It's a nice spot, just outside the town.

- Reception wasn't open when I went in the morning because it opens later on Saturdays, but I didn't interact much with staff.

- Breakfast was mediocre—the coffee machine was broken so I had to make granulated coffee myself, and the full English was nothing special. The mushrooms looked dry, but the beans were fresh. It felt a bit grubby and the carpet was dirty.
