AI summary of what 4 dish mentions say about the food
The supplì al ragù is the undisputed star, a perfectly fried, molten-core triumph. Overall, reviewers describe the food as warm, traditional Roman comfort executed with soulful precision.
“This supplì with ragù is from Campania style, but it's solid. It never disappoints, in my opinion. I'd already be happy with just these appetizers.”

Fiori di zucca fritti con mozzarella e alici
These fried zucchini flowers with mozzarella and anchovies are lava hot — the mozzarella stretches like a tongue inside the crispy breading. The breading is crunchy, almost dangerous because you might choke on a piece. The anchovy really enhances the flavor of the zucchini flower. It's greedy and perilous, a classic Roman rosticceria dish not to be underestimated.
- Supplì
Crocchetta di patate
A potato croquette with speck and provola cheese. It's part of the appetizer trio, but I didn't say much about it specifically.
Amatriciana con bombolotti
This is a classic amatriciana with bombolotti — guanciale mantecato with tomato sauce, pecorino at the end, no crunchy guanciale, no fancy stuff, just pepper and maybe chili. The guanciale has infused into the tomato sauce, transferring all its beautiful ignorant flavor. The pasta is very creamy, not too al dente like I'm used to finding in Rome. It's good, you eat it well, it doesn't feel cloying. The guanciale has been completely stripped of its juices and texture — it lost everything into the sauce, which is so liquid because it's been flooded with guanciale fat. I'm team amatriciana among Roman pastas — carbonara is good, but tomato in pasta can't be beaten. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the bombolotti shape — I don't like it as a pasta format. They slip away, you either eat them with a spoon or struggle with a fork. They're not made for voracious people. We finished the whole platter, and we were sad when it ended. Great value at €14 for a shared portion.
