AI summary of what 4 dish mentions say about the food

The Fideuà, a vermicelli paella, earns unanimous praise for its deeply savory, perfectly toasted noodles. Diners describe the overall vibe as a warm, unpretentious celebration of coastal Catalan comfort food.

This fideuà is like a paella but with short, broken noodles instead of rice. It's packed with seafood — every spoonful is a concentrated bomb of sea flavour, like a fish soup but completely dry. The socarrat — the burnt caramelised crust along the edge — is perfect. This is the best fideuà in the world, 2022. I wish this pan would never end.

    Loved

A fantastic restaurant in Gandia where you can taste the original fideuà — a seafood noodle dish that rivals paella. The croquettes and torrijas are also incredible. Absolutely worth the trip.

    Dishes mentioned

    • Crocchette di Baccalà

These cod croquettes have an incredibly thin, crispy breading — the cod is stunning. I don't think 'stunning cod' has ever been said before, but it's true. They're perfectly salty, and they melt in your mouth.

    • Crocchetta di Soppressata Maiorchina

This croquette contains cecina — dried, smoked beef — plus a blue cheese made from half goat's and half cow's milk, and sobrassada, a typical Majorcan cured meat that resembles 'nduja. The flavour is incredible — you really taste the pepper from the sobrassada, and the cheese is sweet despite being blue. One of the best croquettes I've ever had.

    • Torrijas

This is the Spanish version of French toast — the bread is soaked in milk flavoured with lemon, then fried, and topped with a syrup of water and sugar that caramelises. Cinnamon goes perfectly with it. It's really delicate and out of this world.
