A ramen shop that offers both white and black miso ramen with a unique yuzu zest twist — another spot-on ramen experience in Kyoto.

Dashir Ramen
I got the Dashir Ramen. There are two options: white miso and black miso. I chose the white miso. We both added half an egg. A unique thing here: they bring you yuzu zest so you can change the flavour of the broth — you start eating it like this, then when you get bored you add some yuzu and it becomes all citrusy and lemony, changing the taste of your ramen. Definitely my favourites are the ones with clear, tasty but a bit lighter broth. These are a bit thinner and have a bit less bite compared to previous days. Having wagyu in here adds serious value. The egg is perfectly liquid. The yuzu moment changes everything — it makes it suddenly fresher, fizzier in a way. They also offer kombu seaweed as an extra condiment, but I wouldn't add too much. Another spot-on ramen in Kyoto.
