The story

Tucked away on Via Appia Sud in Sant’Antimo, Puok has quietly become a destination for sandwich lovers willing to drive 40 minutes—as creator xMurry did. With a 4.6-star rating, this modern, casual spot leans into street-food energy while keeping things instagrammable; outdoor seating and takeout options make it flexible for any mood. xMurry called it "one of the best fast food places I've ever eaten," praising the sandwiches as "perfect" with "amazing balance of flavours and originality."

The menu leans into playful, astro-themed names: the Spoios, Genovese Astrospaziale, Wagner, and Braciola Supernova. Each sandwich delivers on that promise of originality xMurry noted, combining classic Italian influences with bold, modern constructions. The result is a local spot that feels both familiar and surprising—proof that great sandwiches don’t need to stay in the city center.

AI summary of what 4 dish mentions say about the food

Puok’s Spoios, a fried chicken dish, earns rave reviews for its crisp, savory perfection, creating a warm, comforting vibe that feels like a hidden neighborhood gem.

This is fried chicken with a secret sauce and salad. It's very very spicy, really well spiced. The bread is artisanal, not a potato bun — it has its own bite, its crunchiness, and even a spicy aftertaste. The sauce seems like a slightly spicy pink sauce, delicious. I think this chicken sandwich is amazing, I'd get it again and again. The chicken is well cooked too. Small detail: they give you a wet wipe to clean your hands.

One of the best fast food places I've ever eaten. The sandwiches were perfect — amazing balance of flavours and originality. I'm really happy I came, even if I drove 40 minutes. The place is really beautiful.

    • Genovese Astrospaziale

This is the sandwich I saw most on social media from Puok, the one that inspired me the most. It's an incredible idea, everyone's dream. I think it has fried onion, provola, and genovese di carne — a typical Neapolitan preparation. The bread is a rosetta, perfect choice. The genovese is amazing, it melts in your mouth. There's a very strong pepper flavour, this is illegal, illegal in 60 states. The meat is super tender. The onion is crunchy — I taste it but don't feel the crunch much. The rosetta bread is spot on. It seems like it's been dipped in the sauce or the sauce has soaked it. Delicious. So far the best, but I'm not sure yet.

This one has friarielli, fried provola, sweet potatoes, and mayonnaise. The friarielli immediately give a delicious bitterness. Then you taste the fried provola — very very porn. There's a lot of crunch between the provola and the potatoes. The friarielli take the sandwich to a whole other level — that bitterness cuts through all the fat and pairs well with the mayonnaise. Super interesting. The friarielli are incredible, an amazing vegetable. I can say that if someone is vegan and doesn't want to get something else, they wouldn't be disappointed. I don't think it's inferior to the meat ones. Really really good.

    • Braciola Supernova

This is beef cooked in classic Neapolitan ragù, with raisins and pine nuts. I think this might beat the genovese one. God, this is pure comfort food — if you had a shitty day, this wipes away all the bad vibes. It's crazy. It's the classic Neapolitan ragù, but the raisins and pine nuts bring me home. The sweetness of the raisin, the crunch of the pine nut. I also see some pancetta pieces. It's complicated to eat without getting dirty. Even though both are beef, they have completely distinct identities. I swear I couldn't choose between the two. They're both so good. Initially I thought the genovese one would win, but now I'm in crisis. The softness level, considering it's a fast food, shows an amazing preparation. The rosetta bread is perfect. I can't find a flaw in this sandwich.
