Pantera Pizza Rustica brings a taste of authentic Roman-style pizza to Milan, winning over diners with its thin, crispy crust and creative, high-quality toppings. The supplì are a standout, and the friendly service adds to the appeal. While many find the prices reasonable for the quality, a recurring note is that costs can add up quickly, especially for larger orders.
Pizza Quality
The pizza is consistently praised for its thin, crispy yet soft Roman-style crust and high-quality ingredients. Favorites include the red pizza, the one with chicken salad, and creative toppings like trippa. The supplì are also highly recommended.
Value
Opinions on pricing are mixed. Many feel the quality justifies the cost, especially for Milan, but some find the prices high for the portion size, noting that a meal can quickly reach €30 or more. A few mention that the price per kilo (€45/kg) feels steep.
Service
The staff are frequently described as friendly, kind, and welcoming. Specific mentions of a smiling young man and a helpful young woman highlight the positive interactions. The service is generally efficient, though a few note occasional slowness.
Atmosphere & Location
The venue is simple with a glass counter to choose slices. A unique perk is the nearby Playroom, a retro arcade with tables and pinball machines, where customers can eat. The location along the Navigli adds to the charm.

Reviewers rave about the supplì, calling it a must-order, while the overall vibe is that Pantera delivers bold, unpretentious Roman comfort food that feels both rustic and refined.
“This just came out. Look at that stretch — it stretches, stretches, and melts, smells amazing, lots of basil. They always put a ton of basil in the supplì. The tomato flavor is identical. The frying is different though — the breading is different from what I find at Garbatella in Rome. And the result is still good. Maybe on a personal taste level, I prefer the Roman frying. This Milanese one might have adapted a bit to the taste of Northern Italy, the Milanese taste. Anyway, the inside is cooked perfectly, the rice inside is cooked perfectly, the tomato is also fresh, lots of basil, it does its job absolutely.”
“The supplì — listen to that breading. The breading is important, they made it the same as in Rome. It has an incredible breading that makes your eyes roll back. I'm a bit envious because at my place I can't get it like that. The breading is crunchy, the sauce inside is very flavorful, red, with personality. It's a simple supplì with simple sauce but it has so much flavor. Truly excellent. I rate my supplì 8.5, this one is 9 plus, 9.5.”

Pantera in Milan surprised me positively — the space with retro arcade cabinets is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the pizza is very faithful to the Roman original, though slightly thinner and with a different frying style for the supplì.

Pizza Margherita
Nice and light, the bottom cooking seems spot on. And then a slightly burnt edge from Roman pizza, and I get a bit of bitterness. It's extremely light. Wow, how thin it is! Incredibly thin! Almost three... It's strange because at Pantera in Garbatella it's not this thin, it's really, really a thin slice. Wow! Almost a different product, guys. It's good, eh, but it's a different pizza, I can't explain. Otherwise the flavor is very good, from the tomato to the fior di latte on top, but I have to say it threw me off a bit because I wasn't expecting such a thin pizza.

Crostino
Already here the look, the cooking, everything. We're more on that line. Nice and reheated, crunchy underneath with a generous layer of cooked ham. Delicious, guys, delicious. Very, very happy.
Pizza con Verdure
Good. Thank goodness they reheated them. They have a good cooking on top. A quick reheat. There's also cauliflower, I can taste at the base a light layer of fior di latte to bind it, to hold the ingredients together. I was sorry not to find, as we saw in Rome, the pizza with puntarelle, the pizza with tripe, something a bit more Roman. Here there are more classic flavors. I didn't find, at least today, maybe they do them, maybe they offer them, pizza flavors a bit more Milanese, you know? With ingredients from Northern Italy. Too bad, I would have liked it.
A great Roman-style pizza spot with a crunchy crust.

Pizza
We tried Pantera Romana recently — the pizza is Roman-style, very crunchy, and really solid. I'd say it's very valid.
Pantera in Milan is exactly the same as the one in Rome — top pizza, top supplì, top concept; it's exactly what Milan needed to show real Roman cuisine.

Look at that beauty — the potato pizza. The potatoes are perfectly cooked, well done as they should be on the pizza underneath. Since the pizza is so thin, the potatoes cook easily, they almost shield it. The result is a clamorous potato pizza. I'm really enthusiastic about it.
- Bianca Ripiena con Insalata di Pollo
Pizza Bianca Ripiena con Mortadella
The white pizza stuffed with mortadella — it's nice and puffy, they didn't skimp on the amount of mortadella. There's also a little touch of mayonnaise to accompany everything well. The dough had started to soften a bit, but it's still great.
