The McShaker fries, doused in spicy seasoning, steal the show, but the overall vibe is fast, familiar, and consistently satisfying comfort food.
“These are the new spicy McShaker Fries. You put the fries in the bag, add the seasoning, and shake. They come out well coated, you can taste the onion and chili, not too strong. They're very crunchy and I really like them. Best thing I tried today.”

McDonald's tried something new with the bacon jam, but it didn't work for me — the regular Crispy McBacon is better, though the spicy fries were a hit.

Gran Crispy McBacon Sweet Onion and Bacon Gem
I tried the new Gran Crispy McBacon with the bacon jam. The jam is made with sweet onion and bacon, but it tastes more like onion puree — I don't really taste the bacon. It's sweet, like breakfast jam, and it clashes with the cheddar and the fried chicken. The chicken version is even worse because the onion overpowers everything. I'd say the regular Crispy McBacon is better. Overall, a 4 out of 10 for the attempt.
McShaker Fries Spicy

McDonald's surprised me positively, especially the Big Arch and Mc Crunchy Chicken; the donut was a disaster, but overall I see improvement in Italy.

Mc Crunchy Chicken
This is one of the best chicken burgers at McDonald's, no doubt. The bacon is actually crunchy, the sauce is good, there's a nice contrast between soft and crunchy. I was expecting a total flop, but it's surprisingly good. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. It doesn't even taste like a McDonald's burger, it's part of the specials.
Big Arch
It's a Big Mac with bacon and crispy sauce. It's really good, better than the Mc Crunchy. It tastes like a Big Mac but good, balanced, not too many flavours. The sauce is very present, the meat is good, not dry. The sauce is slightly more acidic than the Mc Crunchy's, because of the pickles. It's a hit.
Donut Ripieno di Arancia e Ribes Nero
I was terrified of this. It looks nice, like Halloween, but the taste is disgusting. The orange part tastes exactly like those hard candies with the fizzy inside, but without the fizz. The blackcurrant is ignoble, ignoble, ignoble. I would never buy this in my life. Why would you get this when there's McFlurry?
A mixed experience at McDonald's: the McCrunchy Chicken sandwich is surprisingly good and much better than Burger King's version, but the restaurant smells like a sewer and the cheese is never melted properly.

McCrunchy Chicken
This sandwich has a really nice crunch on the chicken, unexpectedly crispy. The breading has a bit of a break that isn't annoying. The chicken looks like a whole fillet — I can see muscle fibers, so it's real meat, not mechanically separated. The bun is warm, which I like. The cheese is plastic-like and not melted at all, not even at room temperature. The bacon underneath seems fairly crispy. There's sauce on top and bottom, so they put some effort in. The barbecue sauce doesn't do anything for me — it's too overpowering and chemical-tasting. Overall, much better than Burger King's version from last week, which was inedible. I'd give it a solid 7.5 out of 10. But McDonald's, please learn to melt the cheese — you're one step away from doing things almost right.
