A great spot for breakfast in central Dublin, with a wide variety of dishes — all good and recommended, very affordable at €51 for everything.
Dishes mentioned
Scone con Clotted Cream e Marmellata
The scone is really good, full of blueberries. I try to put this clotted cream on it, even though I'm not very confident after tasting the paradise of clotted cream in the Cotswolds. The cream and jam — we've tasted better ones, but maybe not in Dublin, so for Dublin it's the top.
Muffin al Cioccolato, Banana e Noci
This muffin is as big as my face. Good, super chocolatey, banana-y. Where there's banana there are a lot of nuts. It's very soft, it reminds me of my husband.
Croissant al Formaggio e Prosciutto
The croissant is very well laminated, it wouldn't seem so to look at it. The cheese they used is very flavourful together with the cooked ham.
Full Irish Breakfast
Sausages as standard, delicious. The bacon of the full breakfast, whichever it is, is like this — not the crispy one they put in sandwiches. Very good. This gentleman here is the feared Black Pudding, a kind of blood sausage. And it's the cousin of white pudding. This one is much more accessible to everyone. It tastes like sausage. And I'll spare you the grilled mushroom, the fried egg, and don't ask me why they love grilling a slice of tomato.
