Reviewers rave about the hearty, soulful "Dodo," praising its comforting, vegetable-forward warmth. The overall vibe is one of humble, satisfying home cooking that feels both nourishing and unpretentious.

This tilapia is grilled over charcoal, basted with their special secret sauce using a paintbrush. It's a big thick fish, probably from Lake Kivu. The flesh is beautiful and flaky, very fresh. I love it with a squeeze of lime and rubbing that hot pepper on it for some spice — you don't eat the pepper, it'll destroy you, but it adds great heat. Simple flavor, really good.

We've got a beautiful tilapia grilled up, charred, and he was painting it with the sauce, their special secret sauce. I learned earlier from Nicola that you can kind of just push this pepper and give it some spiciness. It's quite a hot pepper. Look at that beautiful fleshy tilapia. I think it needs a squeeze of lime. It's actually just very simple flavor. Fresh fish, though, and there's a lot of meat in there. I love it with this pepper — you don't eat the pepper because it's kind of like destroy you, but you can kind of rub it on there and give it some spice. With the squeeze of lemon, lime, really good.

This is a vegetable dish, kind of a stir-fry with tomatoes and onions. I'm not sure exactly what the green is, maybe spinach. It's very good.
