AI summary of what 4 dish mentions say about the food

Reviewers rave about the Golden Chippy’s perfectly crisp chips, calling them the star of the show, with an overall vibe of comforting, no-fuss seaside indulgence.

I got the classic Fish and Chips and it looks absolutely spectacular, especially the battered cod. The batter is fried beautifully, nice and crunchy, a bit flaky, and it doesn't taste of old oil. The chips are cut nice and thick, and they're not all super crunchy on the outside — you have to find the right one — but they're all super creamy, you can tell they're fresh potatoes. As for the cod itself, the meat is moist, soft, spectacular — truly one of the best I've ever tried. On the table there are all the condiments you can use: ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, tartar sauce. The total bill was £24.75, just the cod was £17.50. The Golden Chippy is amazing, I loved it.

The haddock has a light, crispy beer batter. The fish is silky and smooth, melts in your mouth. The batter to fish ratio is excellent. It's a tiny bit more fancy than cod and costs about a pound more. If you're going with someone, get both and compare.
