- Penne PastaDry penne, about 3/4 of a 500g package for 2-3 servings

- Extra Virgin Olive Oil(optional) — Optional drizzle to taste

Method
- Start with a jar of arrabbiata sauce. Add a splash of water to the jar, close the lid, and shake to loosen all the sauce.
- Pour the sauce into a pan. Optionally add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of chili flakes to taste.
- Add the dry penne directly into the sauce. Pour in about 1 cup of water (or enough to barely cover the pasta). Stir to combine.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened and become creamy. If the sauce gets too dry, add a little more water.
- Once cooked, remove from heat. Stir in a generous handful of fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with freshly grated pecorino romano cheese on top.
