Ingredients
10 items- 500 gManitoba Flour
- 50 gSugar
- Lemon ZestZest of 1 lemon
- Vanilla BeanSeeds of 1 vanilla pod
- 310 gMilk
- 15 gFresh Brewer's Yeast
- 10 gSalt
- 100 gButter
- Seed OilFor frying, as needed
- Sugar for DustingFor coating, as needed
Method
- Put 500 g of Manitoba flour, 50 g of sugar, lemon zest, and seeds of a vanilla pod into the planetary mixer.
- Begin kneading and add 310 g of milk, 15 g of fresh brewer's yeast, 10 g of salt, and 100 g of butter little by little until the dough is ready.
- Make folds, form a round dough, and let it rise for 2 hours.
- After rising, form a loaf and cut it into small loaves of 95 g each.
- Let the loaves rise for 30 minutes, covered with a tea towel.
- Fry them in hot seed oil at 170°C, ensuring the oil is not too hot.
- Drain the fritters on frying paper and, while still hot, pass them in sugar.
